Across the world people have seen their lives interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer individuals and persons belonging to other sexual and gender minorities (LGBTQ+) may be in a situation of particular vulnerability with regard to their emotional well-being and mental health during the present health crisis. Project Global Queerantine is a joint endeavor of a team of researchers from seven countries (Portugal, UK, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Sweden, and Mexico) exploring the psychosocial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic among LGBTQ+ individuals.
