b) a bachelor in Psychology or in a related area, as well as an academic or scientific curriculum recognized by the Scientific Committee as assuring the ability to attend this cycle of studies;

This preliminary stage of the application process aims to obtain a supervisor and to define the preliminary PhD project and it is only destined to those candidates who have not yet been accepted by a FPCEUP Professor in the framework of the supervision.

- Research objectives (up to 300 words)
- Detailed description (up to 1000 words)
- References (up to 20)
- Document where the candidate explains the transferability of knowledge of the proposed project to the scientific community and to the society in general (up to 300 words)

Selection and ranking criteria:
- Ranking obtained through the analysis of the CV as well as of the preliminary project and eventually with an interview.
- Weighing:
1 - research activities: 20%;
2 - dissemination of research activities: 20%;
3 - quality of the pre-doctoral project: 40%;
4 - quality of the transferability document: 20%
Observations:
- Candidates with less than 60% in the overall score will be excluded.
