Intructions for presenters


Oral presentations and Symposia

Presenters:

  • The maximum time for your presentation is 10 minutes, and another 5 minutes for questions and debates.
  • Arrive at the room of your session at least 5 minutes before the session starts
  • Bring your presentation on a USB memory stick in PDF format.
  • Please ensure that your presentation slides are designed so that they can be easily read by the audience. Careful attention should be paid to font size, style, spacing and colours to maximise readability.

Chairs:

  • Please arrive at the session room at least 5 minutes before the session starts.
  • Chairs should rigorously enforce the schedule.
  • Each panel session will last 75 minutes. Allow at least 15 minutes for questions and comments from the audience.
  • Introduce each presenter – name, institution and title of the presentation.
  • Please adhere to the order of presentations as they appear in the conference programme.

 

Workshops

  • Please arrive at the session room at least 5 minutes before the session starts.
  • Each workshop will last 120 or 180 minutes as appear in the programme.


Posters

  • Posters will be exhibited during the whole conference in the 1st Floor Halls.
  • Posters should be A1, with maximum of 1 metre width.
  • Authors should print and bring their own poster to the conference.
  • When you arrive at the conference you should leave your poster in the secretariat and we will place it for you.


NOTE: Volunteers will be available in or nearby the session rooms to help you if you require assistance.
